Alfonzo Andre' Beverly, 111, better known to family and friends as AJ, was born on October 15, 1995, in Hertford County, North Carolina. He was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday evenings, November 4, 2020. Alfonza received his education in the public schools of Hertford County, North Carolina, and continued his education at Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina. Alfonza was employed by Blue Source Solar/Sun Energy in North Carolina. Alfonza was preceded in death by his grandparents; Floyd, Sr. and Annie Mary Tann. Alfonza leaves to cherish his memories: his parents; Leonard, Jr. and Ernestine Tann-Lee; two brothers, Phillip Tann, Jr. (Sarah) of Ahoskie, North Carolina, and Brandon Lee of the home; one special aunt and uncle, Princess and Mark Joyner; one nephew, Tyshawn Tann (AJ's twin) two nieces; Jamaya Chester and Tyanna Tann, Alfonza also formed a brotherly bond with DaQuan Robertson, Bryan Lee, TaQuan Lynch, Kishon Moore, Jimmy Walker, Deshawn Alston, and many other special friends, acquaintances, associates, and relatives.
