Annie Pecora Holloman Scott was born on February 10, 1946, in Harrellsville, North Carolina. to the late John Henry and Daisy Holloman. She departed this life on January 11, 2022, at her home. Annie gained her education at C S Brown High School in Winton, North Carolina, graduating in 1965. She continued her education at Roanoke-Chowan Community College and graduated with an Associate Degree in Technology. Annie was joined in matrimony to Calvin Scott and together they shared 58 happy years. At an early age, she joined Harrellsville Chapel Baptist Church in Harrellsville, North Carolina, and later joined Mt Nebo Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, North Carolina. Annie was employed at Sunbeam for many years, and later Rollic, Inc. She also worked at several group homes including Solid Foundations. Annie was lovingly known by family and friends as "Pecora". She was quiet and very reserved. She was also a thoughtful kind-hearted, and free-spirited person who loved from her heart. She was preceded in death by six brothers; Johnnie, Linwood, Mckinley, Thurman, Earl, and Wayne Holloman. Annie leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Calvin Scott; two daughters, Teresa Wynn (Robert) of Murfreesboro, North Carolina, and Sandra Simms of Murfreesboro, North Carolina; a son, Fabion Deloatch (Terrell) of Murfreesboro, North Carolina; four sisters, Alfreda Newsome of Charlotte, North Carolina, Joyce Nichols of Wakefield, Virginia, Linda Turner, of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Tikeya Powell of Ahoskie, North Carolina; one brother, Ricky Holloman (Deloris) of Como, North Carolina; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
