Benjamin Grant Weiss

April 12, 2005 - January 14, 2022

Benjamin Grant Weiss died unexpectedly, at the young age of 16 at Norfolk General Hospital on January 14, 2022. Benjamin got the nickname "BB" when he was one week old. While at Walmart, two ladies came up to us saying, "He's a Beautiful Baby", and held him for about ten minutes. Benjamin was such a great kid, who never talked back. He was, very obedient, and had a very contagious smile that made you smile. Even on a bad day, he kept you laughing with his corny jokes and silly phrases. He loved running, swimming, video games, lifting weights, spending time outside in the woods and mountains, taking pictures, and flexing in the mirror. He also loved art, classical music, eating four toasted peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, five boiled hotdogs, with no buns, and a bottle of water. He further loved Krispy Kreme donuts, but hated ice cream, watermelon, crabs, and soda. His love for animals caused him to want to be a Vet when he finished school. Yorkies and cats were his favorite animals. One day when he was four years old, we went to Norfolk Zoo. People were moving to the left and some to the right because in the walkway was a lizard, the size of a pinky finger. Benjamin walked right up to it, and with his little foot up, he smashed it. People looked in amazement, then kept on walking. However, we were so embarrassed. That was Benjamin Grant Weiss, the special and unique young man that we will love and miss forever. Benjamin leaves to cherish his wonderful memories: his parents, Sabrina and Robert Weiss, Jr.; two sisters, GarAysa Williamson, Rebekah Weiss; four brothers, Adam, Jones, Jayson, Robbie, and Mat Weiss; his favorite nieces, Aryiah and Aubri Mitchell, and Rylee Weiss; two nephews, Raymond and Baby Enzo Grant Weiss; his grandparents, Mildred and Larry Jones, Brenda, and Don Mitchell, and Janie and Robert Weiss; his favorite aunt, Amanda Jones, Shannon Smith, and his beloved, the late Jennifer Popina; his uncles, Victor Jones, Charles Eure, Jonathan Nash, Rodney Weiss, and the late Joseph Weiss; great-grandmothers Marion S. Knight, and Nancy G. Crotts. He also leaves behind, a ton of other aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, Mack Benn, Jr., Kings Fork Middle, and Kings Folk High School families,
