Geraldine Brown, age 97, was called home to be with her Heavenly Father on July 7, 2022. She often spoke of her unwaivering faith in Christ. Geraldine was born on October 18, 1924 to Robert H. Hall and Eulalar Weaver Hall in Ahoskie, North Carolina. She was predeceased by brothers, Alfonso Hall and Walter Hall, and sister Leora Hall Jones. The sixty-six years of marriage to Raymond Brown, Jr. (deceased) provided a life of love and happiness, with three children, Barbara, Maurice (deceased) and Michael. Geraldine always depended on her deep faith in God to help her through any and all troubles that came upon her and her family and friends. All who knew her remember her quick smile, kind words, optimism and welcoming personality. Geraldine is survived by her daughter, Barbara, son Michael (Debra); grandsons, Troy, Jason, (Tiffany), and Glenn Hines, Maurice Brown, Jr., Deacon Fran Rodgers, Tammy Rogers, Davel, Tom and Teko Coston; three great-granddaughters, three great-grandsons, and three great-great-grandsons, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends. Geraldine was a lifelong member of Pleasant Plains Baptist Church, a member of the Senior Citizens Club, and an active participant in the community of family and friends.
