William Freddie Bellinger "Bill"

August 24, 1938 - January 26, 2021

William Freddie Bellinger "Bill", was born on August 24, 1938, in Statesboro, Georgia, to the late Joseph and Cleo Bellinger. William heard the still sweet voice of Jesus, bidding him to come home, on January 26, 2021, at the Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Edenton, North Carolina. Bill left Georgia and moved to New York City, New York at an early age. He began working for 7UP Bottling Company as a filler and later became a manager. After retiring from 7UP, he worked for Verizon. Bill's hobbies were sports, especially Baseball. His favorite team was the METS. He also loved Christian Singing and traveled to different places to hear his favorite singing groups. Bill was joined in Holy Matrimony to Lula Sharpe Bellinger on September 18, 1965, by Rev. Ernest Cook the pastor of his church, Paradise Baptist Church. From this union, one daughter Wendy was born. Bill leaves to cherish his precious memories, his wife of 56 years, Lula Sharpe Bellinger; two daughters, Wendy and Angela, two sons, William, Jr., and Jeffrey; four sisters, Mary Alice, JoAnn, Annie, and Julia; two brothers, Jimmy and George Edward; grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins; a dear beloved sister Margaret and Sylvester Hardy, a cousin Leila Fuller, and a sister-in-law, Geraldine Bellinger.
